I have several pre-shave oils, creams, & gels, and usually go with the Crown Shaving Supreme Glide formula. My routine is adding it before the second shave, and not the first. It's a tad greasy on the hands after application, but washes off easily. The same deal with the shaving brush - just a dab of soap & water cleans it right out.
Overall, it's a great product but want to mention that the scent is more citrus-y (hints of lemon pledge) and not what's described under key features ("a seductive masculine scent"). Regardless, it's still a nice, subtle scent.
